Our Team

How we started

George Brown started working as a carpenter in Boyd, WI area in 1937. George and his son Al Brown started Brown and Brown in 1957 building homes and light commercials projects in Boyd area. With  George Brown’s retirement in late 1960’s Al  Brown continued working in the construction business and started Brown Builders, Inc. in 1970 and was responsible for day to day operations until 1984. Al’s son Lonny Brown started working part time for Brown Builders, Inc. in mid 1970’s and full time in 1977 as carpenter, foreman, job superintend  and assumed full responsibility for day to day business operations in 1984 to current date.

Who we are

We are a 3rd generation carpenter based General Contractor that has been in business for 65 years! Our projects include custom homes, custom home remodeling,  new construction as well as addition’s and remodeling for light and medium commercial projects including offices,  medical clinics, financial institutions,  educational, pre-engineered metal buildings,  and manufacturing facilities. Our projects vary in types of construction varying from wood or steel framing, masonry and tilt-up precast.
